Independent Ireland to meet with Maria Steen regarding Presidential Nomination on Monday

Independent Ireland Leader Michael Collins TD has confirmed that following a request received by the party on Thursday afternoon from Ms. Maria Steen, the party has agreed to meet with Ms. Steen to discuss her nomination for the presidency.

Independent Ireland have been discussing presidential candidacy options with like minded Independent Oireachtas members and have done that out of the media spotlight. We are a party that prefers to work quietly and diplomatically with others and we will continue that process in the coming days.
